What types of spray foam insulation are there?
Here at Enviro House Ltd, we use LogicFoam Spray Insulation. Over the last 30 years, this UK-manufactured product is considered the future of insulation. All LogicFoam products carry KIWA BDA Agrément certificates.We work with two types of spray foam insulation: Closed-Cell Spray Foam and Open-Cell Spray Foam. Whilst both are typically made from polyurethane and filled with bubbles of gas or air, they have different properties once they are set.
- Closed-Cell Spray Foam
Closed-cell spray foam sets into a robust solid, which means that it can enhance the structural stability of your home. This type of spray foam contains separate pockets of gas which slow down the movement of heat, therefore making it a fantastic insulator. - Open-Cell Spray Foam
